Job summary

TriNet, a leading provider of HR solutions, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bridge the technology organization and TriNet business leaders. You will translate business needs into documented user stories and collaborate across engineering and business units throughout the software lifecycle.

You will work with stakeholders to gather requirements, craft functional designs, and lead process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
• Typically 8+ years of Business Analyst experience.
• Role may be based in Atlanta with option for remote hire at company discretion.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to define application requirements.
• Produce developer-friendly functional designs, user stories, and wireframes reflecting business needs.
• Serve as liaison between business and engineering to resolve issues and provide progress updates.
• Conduct user story grooming sessions between engineering and business stakeholders.
• Develop and document cross-functional business processes and procedures.
• Analyze and evaluate business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvements.
• Research software applications to understand existing functionality and suggest changes to senior management.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement technical applications and challenge status quo.
• Lead testing efforts to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Produce process maps and models for proposed applications; analyze data for patterns.
• Drive cross-functional process improvements and secure leadership buy-in.
• Conduct market and industry research to inform enterprise-level recommendations.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for key initiatives.
• Maintain deep knowledge of supported business areas, systems, and data.
• Mentor other Business Analysts and guide issue resolution.
