Job summary

RSM is seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Milwaukee team. You will translate business problems into clear requirements and partner with product, IT, and business leaders to deliver value.

In this role, you will lead requirements elicitation, document user stories, contribute to roadmaps, and ensure quality through UAT and tests. A minimum of five years of BA experience in a development environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Ability to analyze and document backend system information such as data mapping and microservice components.
• Knowledge of defect tracking processes and tools.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and consult effectively with employees at all levels.
• Strong knowledge of basic and advanced business analysis techniques and strategies.
• Strong knowledge of product design and user experience design concepts.
• Strong knowledge of the Agile Framework with a focus in Scrum, Scaled Agile, and Kanban methodologies.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking ability.
• Good communication skills both written and spoken.
• Minimum of 5 years of business analysis experience working in a development environment.
• Knowledge of product management concepts and how enterprise software products are positioned and developed.

Responsibilities

• Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions.
• Lead analysis activities for high-priority projects requiring strong functional integration.
• Support the product, processes, and users as part of the team.
• Define detailed requirements for enhancements to the system and process improvements.
• Work with business leaders, system users, and IT to deliver insights and opportunities.
• Lead the team through analysis of the requirements creating finite written details.
• Participate in product road mapping and provide strategic recommendations.
• Assist product owners and managers with backlog management and prioritization.
• Document user stories and acceptance criteria; size and validate stories with QA/Tech.
• Plan, document, and execute UAT scenarios during releases and patches.
• Represent the voice of the customer for product recommendations.
• Collaborate with project team members to solve implementation issues and business problems.
