Job summary

CODAI Consults LLC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst responsible for eliciting business needs, specifying user stories and use cases, and modeling processes. You will evaluate system impacts and partner with the project team to ensure delivery of new capabilities, enhancements, and fixes for various applications.

Qualifications include 10+ years in IT, SDLC and Agile experience, and certifications such as CBAP or Product Owner/Scrum Master.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience; preferably in enterprise B2B durable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing.
• 8+ years' experience in systems analysis and design with proven record of successful large-scale project implementations.
• Experience in SDLC and Agile/Scrum; eliciting/documenting user stories/acceptance criteria, backlog management, and Sprint reviews.
• Knowledge of Information Security Awareness.
• Understanding of web applications.
• Experience in Jira is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize business requests and collaborate with the project team to ensure delivery of new system capabilities, enhancements, and fixes.

• Collaborate with the project team and business partners during planning, incremental delivery reviews, and UAT to ensure software meets specifications.

Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst that will have responsibility for eliciting business needs, specifying user stories/use cases, modeling processes, evaluating system impacts, performing detailed analysis, prioritizing business requests, and partnering with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of new system capabilities, enhancements, and fixes in support of various *** applications.

• Responsible for analysis and documentation of business needs and systems impacts to ensure the successful delivery of various *** applications.
• Responsible for completing assignments with the ability to work on 1-3 projects.
• Understanding the business needs and requests, identifying solutions, gathering information, and translating business needs into documented artifacts that are understandable to business and IT personnel alike.
• Responsible for documenting business requirements, user stories/acceptance criteria, use cases, workflow diagrams etc.
• Work with the business users to analyze processes and system issues and turn them into actionable system changes that benefit the requesting party(s), improve efficiency in operations and overall performance.
• Collaborate with project team and business partners during project planning, incremental software delivery reviews, and User Acceptance testing to ensure the software has been implemented based on the specifications.

• Modeling experience (e.g., process flows, use cases, swim lane diagrams, AS-IS / TO-BE diagrams, mock-ups/wireframes).
• Robotic Process Automation (RPA) / Process Mining is a plus.
• Knowledge of Information Security Awareness.
• Understanding of web applications.
• Experience in Jira is a plus.

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, other related majors.
• 10+ years of IT experience; preferably in enterprise Business-to-Business durable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing.

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification is a plus.
