Job summary

Mphasis is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with 7–10 years of experience in banking or finance to support agile technology delivery across major initiatives in the US market. The role involves defining and communicating requirements across waterfall, agile, and hybrid environments, with wealth management experience preferred and a strong focus on RCA and data analysis.

The candidate will collaborate with PMO and technology delivery teams, prepare status updates, and help prioritize features

• 7 to 10 years of experience in banking or finance as a Business Analyst.
• Ability to define, analyze, document, and communicate product and application requirements across waterfall, agile, or hybrid environments.
• Wealth management experience is preferred.
• Strong RCA and data analysis capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Dev Lead, QA and Product Owners to support agile technology delivery across key initiatives.

• Track and report on KPIs, feature adoption, and usage metrics where applicable.
• Develop conceptual mock-ups to communicate proposed changes and ideas.

Partner with Dev Lead, QA and Product Owners to support agile technology delivery across key initiatives.

• Utilize available internal AI tools to:
  • Analyze current state system capabilities, dependencies, and design.
  • Define target state user journeys, use cases, workflows, and business processes aligned with product goals and control requirements.
  • Identify, create, and validate epics and user stories for agile sprints.
  • Define acceptance criteria, generate and review test cases/scenarios, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed.
• Prepare presentations and provide regular status updates.
• Track and report on KPIs, feature adoption, and usage metrics where applicable.
• Develop conceptual mock-ups to effectively communicate proposed changes and ideas.
• Support backlog refinement and assist with prioritization of features.
• Work on journaling and BPM workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to demonstrate capabilities, gather requirements, and track user feedback.
• Partner with PMO and technology delivery teams to organize and plan product releases effectively.

Required Skills

• 7 to 10 years in banking or finance organizations as a Business Analyst.
