Job summary

EXL is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support EDM implementations for clients in the insurance domain. You will gather requirements, profile data, document functional and technical specifications, and assist in deployment tasks.

This business-facing role collaborates with client teams to ensure project success. The candidate should have hands-on experience extracting and analyzing large data sets using SQL in a data warehouse environment and possess knowledge of insurance concepts such as

Job description

The Business Analyst (BA) plays an important role in the implementation of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Solutions for EXL Clients. Senior Business Analysts will work on a variety of tasks ranging from requirements gathering/analysis, data profiling, preparing functional and technical documentation, and deployment tasks. This is a business-facing role that works independently and collaboratively with internal and client teams to ensure project success.

The candidate must have insurance industry domain knowledge and understand the key insurance concepts (Policies, Claims, Premiums, reinsurance, London market etc)

The BA drives and participates in discovery and design sessions and is involved in all aspects of data management implementations including translation of architecture and design documentation into configured solution components, including data models, mappings, rules, reports, and more.The BA should have practical experienceextracting and analyzing large amounts of data using SQL queries from a data warehouse environment.
