Qualifications

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team on an onsite basis at our location in Brooklyn, OH. This role is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate. As a strategic partner between the business and technology teams, the Senior Business Analyst will drive the analysis and documentation of complex enterprise requirements, optimize business processes, and support the delivery of technology solutions aligned with organizational standards. The position involves leading requirements gathering, process modeling, data analysis, testing coordination, and stakeholder engagement across diverse initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops with business and technology stakeholders.




• Elicit, analyze, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements for complex projects.




• Convert business needs into detailed user stories, process flows, business rules, and technical specifications.




• Analyze impacts across multiple applications, integrations, and downstream systems.




• Ensure all requirements support strategic business goals and align with technology roadmaps.




• Document current and future-state business processes.




• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, user experience, and automation.




• Collaborate with architects, developers, product owners, and subject matter experts to design effective solutions.




• Contribute significantly to solution design activities to ensure alignment with business requirements.




• Support enhancements and modernization efforts involving core credit and lending platform applications.




• Analyze key business processes, including deal intake, underwriting, approval workflows, covenant management, document handling, and portfolio oversight.




• Develop data mapping and source-to-target specifications for system integrations.




• Partner with business teams to prioritize features and capabilities that enhance the end-to-end lending experience.




• Develop and support testing strategies for complex technology initiatives.




• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with stakeholders.




• Validate that solutions meet business needs, compliance requirements, and operational expectations.




• Support release readiness and implementation activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.




• At least 5 years of experience supporting enterprise technology solutions through business analysis.




• Proven experience in managing requirements for complex systems involving multiple stakeholders.




• Strong skills in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.




• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC) practices.




• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.




• Experience creating process models, workflow diagrams, use cases, and business requirements documents.




• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.




• Ability to influence decisions and foster consensus among business and technology teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial lending or commercial real estate lending.




• Familiarity with core credit and lending platforms used in commercial finance.




• Knowledge of CRE origination, underwriting, approval, and portfolio management processes.




• Experience with data mapping, system integrations, and enterprise data platforms.




• Familiarity with process modeling tools such as JIRA and Confluence.




• Understanding of banking regulatory, risk, and compliance frameworks.




• Experience working with cloud-based and SaaS lending platforms.
