Job summary

The position requires a Texas CDL with P and S endorsements, 5+ years of experience, and the ability to train staff while maintaining thorough maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Texas commercial driver’s license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and on-site vehicle repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform major and minor mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and inspections on district vehicles.
• Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records.
• Teach and mentor mechanics and apprentices.
• Supervise and direct the work of mechanics and assistants.
