Job summary

Keolis-9 is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to service heavy equipment and coaches in a 24/7 transit environment. You will perform preventive inspections, diagnose and repair ADA equipment, HVAC, brakes, chassis, and electrical systems using Cummins Insite, Allison prognostics, and other diagnostic tools.

Applicants should have a strong safety record, ability to read schematics, and experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Requires 3 years progressive heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Prefers ASE Transit Certificate (H4/H5/H8) and a CDL with Passenger endorsement.
• Two years technical degree or equivalent experience preferred; additional training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections on coaches following checklists and document work orders.
• Conduct corrective maintenance using diagnostic equipment and road tests; repair electrical and mechanical systems.
• Document repairs and parts used; maintain safety standards and PPE compliance.
• Collaborate with others to resolve issues and provide guidance as needed.
