Job summary

Baton Rouge Community College is seeking a Bursar leader to oversee student accounts, cashiering, and tax reporting. You will supervise staff, set priorities, and ensure secure handling of funds in compliance with Title IV requirements.

You will coordinate with Student Financial Services, Registrar, and Finance to apply aid, charges, and payments accurately. Strong leadership and higher-education accounting experience are essential.

• Strong analytical skills for receivables, collections, refunds, and credits.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bursar operations for student accounts, cashiering, and tax reporting.
• Coordinate with Student Financial Services, Registrar, Finance for accurate billing.
• Oversee cash management, refunds, and internal controls to ensure audit readiness.
• Support reporting on student receivables, collections, and payment activity.
• Collaborate with campus departments to align with registration and aid disbursement.
