RTM Engineering Consultants seeks a senior technology design professional to reinforce and advance its building technology systems practice. You will provide design direction, client consultation, and project leadership across structured cabling, wireless, audiovisual, and electronic security systems.

You will collaborate with multi‑discipline teams, mentor junior designers, and contribute to ongoing design process improvements while engaging in business development and industry engagement.

Formación

• 10+ years experience in designing and consulting on building technology systems.
• College Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
• RCDD and CTS required; PE registration or related certifications recommended.
• Expert knowledge of structured cabling, wireless, audiovisual, and electronic security design.
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline design teams and managing multiple project deliverables.
• Experience mentoring other technology designers.
• Experience working in in-house multi-discipline teams.
• Experience in systems field troubleshooting.

Responsabilidades

• Provide structured cabling, wireless, audiovisual, and electronic security systems consulting to stakeholders.
• Conduct user needs analysis and apply design standards; present to stakeholders.
• Develop and execute complete design of tech systems.
• Coordinate with in-house and third‑party engineers across disciplines.
• Support design through construction contract administration.
• Lead and mentor junior technology designers.
• Lead design process improvements and asset development.
• Engage in project management for technology-only scopes.
• Collaborate on business development and professional society engagement.
