Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Building Technology Systems - Senior Consultant to design and coordinate Structured Cabling, Electronic Security, or Audiovisual systems for diverse projects in the Northeast region. The role supports teams from design through construction, with travel as needed and regular in-office attendance 1–2 days per week in a hybrid setup in Boston, NY, NJ, PA, or elsewhere.

You will work with clients and project teams to document requirements, prepare construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5–7+ years designing building technology systems such as Structured Cabling, Electronic Security, or Audiovisual.
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with BIM workflows and industry codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate designs for Structured Cabling, Electronic Security, or Audiovisual systems.
• Coordinate with clients to gather and document system requirements.
• Create design narratives and construction documents.
• Review technology submittals and RFIs using industry standard platforms.
• Perform site surveys and prepare reports documenting existing conditions and progress.
