Job summary

Lincoln Property Company in Tampa, FL seeks a Building Engineer II to operate, monitor, and maintain complex building systems with emphasis on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. You will troubleshoot independently and perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliable building operations.

The candidate will hold 3–5 years of related experience, engineering/licensing as required, and prefer CFC certification. Proficiency with BAS and MS Office is expected; physical work up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of job-related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience.
• Engineering and trade licenses required per local, state, or national requirements.
• CFC Certification preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with HVAC and building automation systems (BAS).
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems independently.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on critical building systems.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records on building equipment.
• Manage service contractors during routine and emergency repairs.
• Collaborate with tenants, contractors, and property managers to ensure reliable building operations.
• Develop technical skills and provide guidance to junior technicians.
