Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City seeks an experienced Facilities/Real Estate technician to maintain and improve critical building systems in a Denver facility. You will diagnose electrical, HVAC, and controls issues, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

You will work a regular daytime shift, engage with building engineers and project managers, and support energy efficiency initiatives and daily work orders.

Qualifications

• Typically requires at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• High school education or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
• Senior understanding of businesses processes and subject matter.
• Performs work independently with limited supervision and direction. Serves as a resource for less experienced staff. May train staff.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, HVAC, and building systems.
• Perform safety certification and training tasks.
• Support construction projects and coordinate with vendors and managers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in electrical and mechanical spaces.
• Respond to service requests and document work performed.
• Operate, test, and troubleshoot building control devices and automation systems.
