cw is seeking an experienced Operating Engineer in New Jersey to manage mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for commercial properties. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, rounds, and timely repairs to ensure reliability and safety.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and possibly an apprentice/trade program. Union environment experience is a noted aspect of the position, with adherence to safety standards.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Apprentice program or trade school preferred.
• 5+ years of related work in operating MEP systems in a commercial property.

Responsabilidades

• Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, VAV and air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment, gauges, panels and thermostats to ensure comfort.
• Inspect and repair building systems, and report activities to supervisor.
• Respond to emergencies and comply with safety directives.
• Complete safety training and follow uniform dress code as scheduled.
