Job summary

Mannik Smith Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the building systems team. This role involves leading mechanical design for various projects, including HVAC and plumbing systems, and managing project scopes and budgets. The position allows for flexible work arrangements and may include partial remote work. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, a Professional Engineer license, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, along with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design for building systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing systems, fire protection, and applicable codes.
• Experience managing projects through design and construction phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and serve as project manager for building systems projects.
• Develop and review construction documents, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budgets for assigned projects.
• Coordinate and manage multi-disciplinary design teams.
