Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled facilities maintenance technician to perform complex preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and building control systems across interior and exterior building spaces.

The role requires monitoring, diagnosing, and repairing building equipment, coordinating with contractors when needed, and maintaining energy efficiency and safety standards to ensure reliable operations for occupants and clients in San Antonio, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing and/or HVAC equipment, machinery and controls.
• Monitors building system operations and performance, and responds to emergency situations and customer concerns.
• Oversees work by outside contractors and ensures compliance with codes, regulations and safety directives.
• Maintains and inspects building lighting, life safety, and building management systems.
• Prepares estimates for time and materials, maintains supplies, and supports energy management programs.
• Performs specialized tasks including carpentry, electrical, painting, roofing, HVAC, welding, and locksmith work.
• Uses computer and/or PDA for work orders, email, ESS; provides training and guidance as needed.
