Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is seeking a Senior Building Systems Technician to perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems across the campus. The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, elevator, and emergency power systems with supervision from the Manager of Building Engineering.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED, EPA 608 certification, OSHA 10-hour or ability to obtain within 6 months, and a valid driver’s license.

Hours:6:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Sunday - Thursday)
Pay Rate:Range starts at $24.79/hour
The Senior Building Systems Technician performs advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems across Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium. This role works with limited supervision and supports reliable operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, elevator, and emergency power systems in public facilities, animal areas, and support buildings. This position reports to the Manager of Building Engineering.
