Job summary

ECS Group of Companies seeks a Senior Project Associate to drive project success from proposal through final invoicing. You will serve as primary client contact, lead meetings, mentor staff, and ensure budgets and schedules stay on track.

Field work may be required as you coordinate complex building science + infrastructure projects across teams. The role emphasizes strong technical writing, report preparation, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Five years of related experience or more.
• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering/Architectural Engineering or related field.
• Licensure, certifications, or proficiency testing may be required depending on work performed.
• Driver's license required if driving for ECS subsidiary.
• Extensive knowledge of building science and infrastructure principles and codes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage client relationships and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project meetings and coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks from proposal to final invoice.
• Mentor junior staff and support development of the team.
• Develop and manage project budgets and change orders; review invoices and assist collections.
• Present findings to clients; prepare and review reports with senior leadership sign-off.
• Oversee multiple building science and infrastructure projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and compliance.

Education

Bachelor/Master of Science in Civil Engineering (NCARB) or Civil/Architectural Engineering
