Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited two-year college or university.
- Minimum of three years of experience performing plan review.
- ICC Plans Examiner certification is required.
- Valid Washington State driver’s license may be required.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate a full range of building plans to ensure compliance with building, accessibility, energy and related codes.
- Coordinate plan reviews, inspections and enforcement actions with staff across departments.
- Assist and mentor other review staff to improve consistency in code interpretation and customer service expectations.
- Provide project management for larger projects that include multiple permits with other Development Services divisions.
