Job summary

The South Dakota Army National Guard seeks a Senior Building Maintenance Worker in Mitchell, SD, to oversee maintenance across facilities including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and preventive maintenance.

You will coordinate with contractors, manage schedules and records, and ensure safety and compliance. The role requires lifting 50 pounds, working 10 hour days (Tue-Fri 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) and obtaining a CAC for federal access.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and preventive maintenance.
• janitorial, grounds maintenance, snow removal and related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems and preventive maintenance.
• Interact with customers and schedule/complete maintenance projects with contractors.
• Prepare reports and records of work performed and outages.
