Ideal candidates hold a BA in a technical field with ICC certifications; 3+ years in municipal building inspection and knowledge of property and health codes. Salary Grade 9 listed; comprehensive benefit package.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Arts in a technical field including construction, building trades or other suitable degree.
• Three (3) years of municipal experience as a building inspector or code officer.
• International Code Council certifications listed: Commercial Building Inspector, Mechanical Inspector, Plumbing Inspector, Plumbing Plans Examiner, Residential Building Inspector, Residential Electrical Inspector.
• Knowledge of property maintenance code and health code.

• Manages and coordinates the Building and Code Enforcement division, including plan review, building inspection, enforcement, and permit processing.
• Provides technical guidance to ensure compliance with standards to safeguard public safety and property.
