Job summary

Boly:Welch is seeking an experienced building engineer for an on-site role in Portland, OR. You will manage maintenance and repairs, ensuring quality work from contractors and coordinating with security and janitors to keep the building accessible and secure.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in building engineering, EPA/Refrigerant and Building Operators certifications, and a strong MS Office skillset. A license mix including LBME/LME is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a building engineer
• EPA/Refrigerant Certification required
• Building Operators Certification required
• SMT BOMA required
• LBME license is required
• LME license and Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems and ensure quality work by outside contractors
• Identify and implement preventative maintenance programs
• Stay informed on latest building systems and equipment technologies
• Fix mechanical, electrical, and structural problems
• Get bids on services from outside contractors and coordinate with building staff
