Job summary

Boly:Welch is seeking an experienced building engineer for an on-site role in Portland, OR. You will manage maintenance and repairs, ensuring quality work from contractors and coordinating with security and janitors to keep the building accessible and secure.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in building engineering, EPA/Refrigerant and Building Operators certifications, and a strong MS Office skillset. A license mix including LBME/LME is highly valued.

AsBuildingEngineer,you’llmanage maintenance and repairs and ensure quality of work done by outside contractors. A proactive approach will be valuable as youidentifyand implement areas for preventative and ongoing maintenance programs as well as stay continuously informed of the latest building systems and equipment technologies.

Day-to-day,you’llfix mechanical, electrical, and structural problems in the buildings, get bids on services from outside contractors, and collaborate with building security and janitors to ensure the accessibility and security of the building. A strong understanding of commercial building, HVAC, plumbing, construction, carpentry, painting, and roofing is required.

This role is 100% on-site.
