Facade Today is seeking a skilled Building Engineer for its Washington, D.C. locations. The role involves overseeing all building systems, ensuring operational safety, and performing preventive maintenance on HVAC and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will have a valid DC 3rd Class Engineers License, experience in building operations, and the capability to supervise maintenance staff. Candidates should be prepared to conduct inspections, lead initiatives for continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating in a facility with similar characteristics and job functions.
• Experience supervising an engineering/maintenance staff of three or more is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and quality control assessments.
• Test and maintain compliance of critical building infrastructure and life safety systems.
• Lead and support engineering and maintenance staff.
• Respond to service calls and address environmental concerns.
