Qualifications

• 10+ years of related technical experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or similar trades.
• 4+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building automation, and fire/life safety in Class A offices.
• Experience operating BMS and energy-saving software like WellStat or equivalents.
• Experience managing operations, preventative maintenance, vendor coordination, tenant service, and regulatory compliance in commercial offices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, and replacement of building systems across a Class A office portfolio.
• Lead, mentor, train, and develop engineering staff; address performance and vendor issues.
• Manage building management systems, work order platforms, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Engage and manage vendors, contractors, and consultants for MEP, life safety, and capital projects.
• Partner with property management, construction, EHS, HR, legal, finance, and vendors to support operations and policy implementation.
• Assist with annual operating and capital budgets, forecasts, and expense management.
• Review invoices and contracts for compliance with AP procedures.
• Support emergency preparedness, life safety, and training for staff.
• Participate in capital and tenant improvement projects and project handovers.
