ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is seeking a Building Enclosure Associate Principal to join our Mid-Atlantic Building Science & Infrastructure team in Philadelphia, PA. You will lead technical execution, manage projects, and mentor junior staff while engaging with owners, architects, and engineers to deliver practical enclosure solutions.

The role emphasizes project leadership, client development, and collaboration across disciplines, with a focus on building envelope performance and construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Architectural/Structural Engineering or Architecture.
• 8+ years in building enclosure consulting, testing, BECx, or forensic assessments.
• Licensed or certified: P.E., AIA, IIBEC (RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, CBECxP) or BECxP/CxA+BE.
• Strong knowledge of building science, codes, and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution across building enclosure consulting projects.
• Manage projects from initiation through closeout with budget, schedule, and quality oversight.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and supervise day-to-day project work.
• Support senior leadership with staffing decisions and business development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality consulting solutions.
