Job summary

Kiewit Architecture & Engineering seeks senior Building Design Managers/Project Managers to lead a multi-discipline team from concept to construction on Industrial projects. You will interface with proposal and engineering teams, drive estimating, productivity, and ensure delivery on time and within budget for building facilities.

The role emphasizes leadership across architectural, mechanical, electrical and process engineering with experience in DB and EPC delivery and a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering required; masters preferred.
• 10+ years design/PM experience with at least 7 years in building design and 3 years leading a team.
• PE or RA license preferred.
• Experience with Design Build and EPC projects in industrial markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the building project team and interface with project management and stakeholders.
• Set productivity, quality, milestones, manhour budget, schedule; monitor metrics and recovery plans.
• Support project initiation and development in both estimate and execution phases.
• Manage project staffing needs and mentor team development.
• Develop and maintain schedules with project controls and procurement through commissioning.
