Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Controls Engineer to own BMS/EPMS operations across the Arsenal 1 campus. You will program DDC/PLC systems, optimize sequences, and collaborate with MEP teams to commission new equipment and maintain energy dashboards.

You will manage vendors, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure cybersecurity for OT networks while upholding strict safety and regulatory standards in an aerospace/defense context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in controls engineering, building automation, or industrial instrumentation.
• Experience with BMS and EPMS systems and integration.
• Strong knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP and electrical systems.
• Ability to read P&IDs and mechanical drawings, and SOO documents.
• Experience coordinating vendors, integrators and electrical contractors.
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Own daily operation, programming and optimization of campus BMS and EPMS.
• Program and troubleshoot DDC/PLC systems, graphics and alarm structures.
• Manage external controls contractors and system integrators on projects.
• Collaborate on SOOs with MEP teams and commission new equipment.
• Perform root-cause analysis on faults using data trends and analytics.
• Ensure OT network cybersecurity in coordination with IT/security.
• Establish maintenance programs for controls hardware, sensors and software.
• Develop dashboards and automated reports for energy tracking and usage.
• Create documentation including schematics, diagrams and SOPs.
