Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in multi-trade building construction with two years managing multiple projects.
• Experience includes planning, coordination, cost estimating, scheduling, purchasing, and resource management.
• Degrees may substitute for experience as described: associate (2 yrs), bachelor (4 yrs), master (5 yrs), doctorate (6 yrs).

Responsibilities

• Manage medium-sized and fairly complex new building construction projects and rehabilitation/renovation for NYS Facilities.
• Assist higher-level staff in managing more complex building construction projects.
• Manage and monitor consultant contracts.
• Manage requests for design, construction, and professional services from other State agencies.
• Review and supervise consultant projects.
• Full range of supervisor duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
