Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is seeking a Senior Building Automation / Controls Technician to join our Orange County, CA team. This is a permanent, full-time role with a competitive salary and benefits package.

You will coordinate with mechanical contractors, perform commissioning and testing, troubleshoot controllers and wiring, and identify code issues. The ideal candidate has an Associates degree or vocational cert in HVAC/electrical controls and at least 3 years of building

Qualifications

• Associate degree or vocational cert in HVAC/electrical controls.
• At least 3 years of experience in building controls and automation.
• Proficient in BAC HVAC software/programming.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with mechanical contractors for installation.
• Complete commissioning and testing of systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair local controllers, wiring, and programs.
• Identify code issues.
• Train and mentor apprentices and junior technicians.
