Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Senior or Lead Systems Specialist to perform complex installation, startup, and commissioning of building automation equipment on assignment sites. The role involves verifying system databases, diagnosing complex control issues, and mentoring junior staff.

You will interact with customers to ensure energy efficiency and sustainable building operations. The position requires extensive hands-on work, site coordination with project teams, and occasional overtime or overnight

Qualifications

5+ years of experience installing and servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
Experience writing computer programs and software applications related to the HVAC industry.
Knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems, and ability to test and write modifications to system software in multiple languages.
Experience with function block programming, job start-up, checkout, and troubleshooting complex projects.

Responsibilities

Commission new distributed digital control systems on construction sites within planned timelines.
Act as the Lead Technician and plans work with Team Leader.
Support the Project Manager by attending job site coordination meetings and verifying installation progress.
Network technologies: perform data back-up from data servers and create automated back-up procedures; troubleshoot and resolve inconsistencies in operations.
