Job summary

Siemens Milford, OH is seeking a Systems Specialist to join our building automation team. You will install, startup, and commission systems, verify databases, and ensure operations align with the scope of work.

You will interact with customers on-site, help cut energy use, and contribute to sustainable building projects. The role includes leading commissioning activities, coordinating with Project Managers, and performing networked system testing.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience with electro-mechanical systems and PC/software.
• Experience with building sub-systems protocols (BACnet, N2, Modbus).
• Ability to climb ladders, work in ducts, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Commission new distributed digital control systems on sites within planned timelines.
• Document commissioning details and communicate deficiencies and progress.
• Lead technician and plan work with the Project Manager.
• Perform data backup and configure networked workstations and interfaces.
• Conduct operational testing, verification, acceptance, and customer training.
