Job summary

Siemens Mobility in San Antonio, TX is seeking Senior or Lead Systems Specialists to perform commissioning, startup, and service of building automation systems on new installations. You will verify databases, diagnose complex control malfunctions, and mentor junior technicians on site.

The role requires leading commissioning, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring customer success while upholding safety standards and quality. On-site work with possible overtime and travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years installing and servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
• Experience with HVAC control software and programming.
• Knowledge of LON, BACnet, Modbus protocols.
• Able to work at construction sites and lift up to 75 pounds.
• US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Commission new distributed digital control systems on construction sites.
• Lead technician planning with Team Leader.
• Attend job site meetings and verify installation progress.
• Configure networks and back up data; troubleshoot control systems.
• Provide customer training and final acceptance of systems.
• Coordinate with trade contractors for startup services.
• Work overtime and travel as needed.
• Submit time and expense reports.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
