Job summary

Siemens's Panama City, FL location is seeking a Systems Specialist to install, start up, and commission building automation systems. You will verify databases and sequences of operation, ensuring alignment with the scope of work.

You will interact with customers to help save energy and improve sustainability. The role requires 3+ years in electro-mechanical systems, familiarity with building subsystems and protocols, and the ability to work in varied environments, including travel and on-call

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of Electro-mechanical systems and PC/software experience.
• Experience with integration of low voltage building subsystems and protocols such as LON, BACnet, N2, Modbus.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret design and construction documents.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Commission new distributed digital control systems on construction sites within planned timelines.
• Document commissioning details and communicate deficiencies and progress.
• Act as Lead Technician and plan work with Team Leader.
• Perform data backups; troubleshoot and resolve sequence issues; configure PC workstations.
• Perform operational testing and provide customer training on system operations.
• Coordinate startup services with trade contractors and manage on-site communication.
• Submit accurate time and expense reports; adhere to safety policies.
