Job summary

Ecosave designs, delivers, and supports energy and smart-building solutions for commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial facilities. The Technical Service role independently owns standard service calls from assessment through verified resolution, combining controls work with direct customer communication.

The position emphasizes troubleshooting BACnet/Modbus networking, reading electrical schematics, and making safe, documented changes.

Qualifications

Three or more years servicing commercial HVAC controls or building automation systems.
Ability to read control drawings, mechanical plans, electrical schematics, sequences of operation, and technical product documentation.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet vehicle-insurability requirements and travel/on-call as needed.
Strong diagnostic judgment and clear customer communication.

Responsibilities

Own planned, contract, time-and-material, and emergency service requests remotely and onsite; establish a safe plan and drive each call to resolution or a clearly owned next step.
Troubleshoot BAS controllers, field networks, workstations, servers, field devices, VFD interfaces, and the interaction between controls and HVAC equipment.
Coordinate with the NOC, Service coordination, engineering, contractors, IT, vendors, and customer representatives; document work thoroughly.
Perform preventive maintenance, health reviews, calibration, backups, and limited commissioning or retrofit work.
