Job summary

Ecosave is hiring a Field Service Technician to join the national Service team supporting commercial, healthcare, and industrial facilities. You will perform defined maintenance and service tasks on BAS front ends, sensors, and controllers under supervision, with growth toward independent ownership of standard service calls.

You will work onsite, travel regionally, and collaborate with the NOC, engineers, and contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Up to two years of relevant experience in building automation, HVAC, electrical work, or technical service
• Basic understanding of commercial HVAC and DDC concepts
• Ability to read control drawings, electrical schematics, and sequences of operation
• Ability to use hand tools and electronic test equipment safely within training
• Clear communication, reliable attendance, and willingness to learn BAS software

Responsibilities

• Complete defined portions of planned maintenance and service work onsite under an approved plan
• Inspect, test, calibrate, and replace BAS field devices such as sensors and relays
• Connect to BAS front ends and gather alarms, trends, and field measurements for diagnosis
• Assist with troubleshooting interactions between controls and HVAC equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance, backups, calibration, and basic commissioning
• Make limited changes to schedules and alarms under authorization; support basic connectivity checks
