Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is seeking a Senior Building Systems Technician in Portland to design, implement, and maintain campus-wide building automation and energy management systems. You will lead a team of specialists and coordinate with Facilities for life safety and environmental monitoring.

The role requires experience with building controls, programming, and HVAC networks, plus the ability to document work and provide technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with three years of building controls experience or equivalent.
• One year of programming experience required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze life safety, access control and environmental network problems and applications.
• Design monitoring solutions for environmental control and HVAC systems.
• Develop and implement programmable building system configurations and control strategies.
• Install and configure device drivers and memory systems; generate reports from maintenance databases.
• Lead and mentor team members; assign tasks and track progress.
