Job summary

Haynes Mechanical Systems is hiring a Tech II for installation, commissioning and troubleshooting building automation controllers. You will support the field team and subcontractors, translating design to on-site implementation.

Role requires Niagara certification with 5+ years of experience, strong HVAC systems knowledge, and ability to communicate technical material to non-technical audiences. On-site with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years HVAC controls experience with database integrations and subsystems.
• Niagara certification with 5+ years of related work is required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment (boilers, chillers, RTUs, AHUs, VAVs) and building automation.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and troubleshoot building unit controllers and FMS.
• Communicate design details to customers, field teams, and subcontractors.
• Perform preventive maintenance and participate in on-call rotations.
• Configure operator workstations and integration device data, trends, alarms, and graphics.
• Complete commissioning docs and as-builts; train owner/operators.
