Job summary

Harvest Technical Services, Inc. in San Jose is seeking a BAS/EMS Controls Engineer to specify, design, program, commission, and troubleshoot building management systems from chiller sequences to full building control.

Responsibilities include designing controls for data centers, hospitals, and labs; programming Distech controllers; creating HMI graphics; coordinating with project managers; visiting sites and training customers; and producing as-built documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred, or 4+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain standard control system designs and library.
• Design building automation for data centers, labs, or hospitals.
• Program Distech controllers and develop HMI graphics.
• Coordinate submittals with project managers and technicians.
• Visit job sites and provide onsite customer training.
• Prepare As-Built drawings and project documentation.
• Troubleshoot BMS issues and support commissioning.
