Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead Build-to-Suit and material handling projects from planning through startup, collaborating across planning, design, procurement, real estate, IT, finance, environmental and legal teams.

You will manage small Build-to-Suit or expansion projects with guidance, coordinate vendors and inspectors, monitor schedules, budgets and ensure safe, compliant handoffs to field operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction project management required.
• Demonstrated academic or professional experience in engineering project management.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from planning through startup for Build-to-Suit and material handling systems.
• Monitor progress, budgets and schedules; resolve operational issues to minimize delays.
• Oversee installation and operation of equipment systems.
• Coordinate resources, including vendors, contractors and external teams.
• Communicate with inspectors, local jurisdictions and field operations; ensure compliance with scope, schedule and contracts.
