Job summary

HTC Global Services in Lansing, MI is seeking a Senior Build Automation & Configuration Management Specialist to own build, configuration, version management, and release processes. This role emphasizes build automation, CI/CD support for testing activities, and deployment troubleshooting.

You will optimize pipelines, drive efficiency, and serve as a technical advisor when engaging with vendor teams. Hybrid work model supported.

Qualifications

10+ years of build automation experience focusing on high‑environment deployments.
Extensive experience with CI/CD and release management.
Strong knowledge of configuration and version management processes.
Proven ability to guide development teams on project administration for build tools.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of build, configuration, version-management, and release processes.
Improve build and release processes with build automation as a core responsibility.
Design and script automation workflows for efficient pipelines.
Support CI/CD for testing activities and deployment.
Monitor pipeline performance and optimize for reliability and speed.
Perform root‑cause analysis on failures and implement corrective actions.
Act as liaison with vendors and their technical teams.
Provide guidance to staff on project administration for build tools.
Deploy new releases of build/config/version management software.
Assess issues to determine internal fixes vs. external support.
