• Six years of professional experience administering governmental financial management and budgeting.
• Three years in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, oversee, and manage the staff and operations of the assigned department.
• Develop and implement goals, objectives, practices, policies, procedures, and work standards.
• Prepare and administer large and complex budgets; allocate limited resources.
• Provide leadership for the department and supervise staff; ensure effective performance.
• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local policies, procedures, and regulations.
