Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Budget Analyst in Linthicum, MD to lead manufacturing budgeting for the AMS division and provide financial oversight across sectors. This onsite role supports standardization of processes, cost control, and data-driven decision making.

The position requires a Bachelor's or Master’s degree with extensive experience in budgeting, cost analysis, and government compliance, with strong skills in SAP/S4, Cognos, Tableau, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or Master’s degree with relevant experience.
• Experience in cost control, financial analysis, or accounting.
• Strong understanding of government compliance.
• Experience with overhead rate preparation and analysis.
• Proficiency with SAP/S4, Cognos, Tableau, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing budgeting activities within the AMS division.
• Prepare monthly Indicated Finals and variance analyses.
• Develop near-term and long-term sector budgets and forecasts.
• Provide financial oversight for projects and rate development.
• Present results to director-level staff.
