AIPSO is seeking a Budget Analyst/Senior Budget Analyst to join our Johnston, RI team. This role focuses on budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting for home and regional offices in a financial services context.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience with budgeting systems such as MAS 500. Bachelor’s in Accounting preferred; insurance industry exposure is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred; experience may substitute for degree.
• 1-3 years in accounting field with knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience with budgeting, payroll tax calculations, and variance analysis.

Aufgaben

• Prepare journal entries for Budget Variance reporting and Regional Executive Summaries.
• Develop and prepare exhibits for the Budget Work Package and central budget calculations.
• Calculate payroll tax percentages for Home Office and Regions; input into budget system.
• Review Home Office and Regional Office budgets and reprojections for reasonableness and variances.
• Test LAN Budget System and reconcile data to MAS 500 after upload.
• Enter budget adjustments into budget and MAS 500; print department and summary reports.
• Process monthly Services Rendered invoices and ensure accuracy; distribute invoices.
• Research variances and prepare exhibits and narratives for Operations Committee and Board Books.
