AIPSO, a management organization serving insurance industry groups, seeks a Budget Analyst/Senior Budget Analyst in Johnston, RI. The role focuses on budget variance reporting, exhibits for annual work packages, and payroll tax calculations for Home Office and regional offices.

Required are a BA/BS in Accounting and 1–3 years of accounting experience, with advanced Excel and strong communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with salary expectations disclosed by the employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred; experience may substitute.
• 1–3 years in accounting with insurance industry exposure preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare journal entries for Budget Variance reporting and Regional Summaries.
• Develop exhibits for Budget Work Package and central budgets.
• Calculate payroll tax percentages for Home Office and Regional Offices.
• Review budgets and variances; prepare questions for variances.
• Test LAN Budget System and reconcile with MAS 500 data.
• Enter budget adjustments into systems and print detailed reports.
• Process monthly invoices interface and adjust as needed.
• Research variances and prepare exhibits for Operations Committee/Board.
