Job summary

RiVidium Inc. is seeking a Senior Budget Analyst to support a federal customer by executing comprehensive financial, budgetary, and program analysis functions.

The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge of DoD financial systems (STANFINS, GFEBS, LMP, DAI), plus strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. RiVidium, a VA-Verified SDVOSB and SBA-certified 8(a) firm, values accuracy and initiative in managing funds across multiple large projects.

Qualifications

• Education: MA/MS/MBA from an accredited college or university OR
• 20 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Field of Study: Accounting, Business, or Finance.
• Experience: 10 years of experience providing budget analysis for multiple large projects.
• Experience with the following financial systems: STANFINS, GFEBS, LMP, DAI.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accept, process, and control funds received from customers.
• Research, reconcile, and transfer open reimbursable funds.
• Attend financial meetings and brief leadership on fund status and budget execution.
• Prepare account reconciliations, special financial analyses, and comprehensive budget reports.
• Maintain and manage travel funds.
• Query and extract data from DAI, LMP, and GFEBS to support financial tracking and reporting.
• Maintain and update Excel-based financial reports and tracking tools.
• Query databases to identify fund balances, commitments, obligations, disbursements, and support contract reconciliation.
• Enter PWDs into LMP and input commitments/obligations into STANFINS, DAI, LMP, and GFEBS.
• Research and reconcile financial discrepancies and ensure data accuracy across systems.
• Prepare funding documentation and manage/update obligation plans.
