Job summary

The California State University, San Bernardino invites applications for a Budget Analyst III in Student Affairs. Under general supervision, you will perform advanced fiscal analysis for the division, including stateside, auxiliary, and grant funding sources.

You will lead budgeting for the division's roughly $40M annual budget, monitor expenditures, prepare financial materials, and support internal controls and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience; advanced degree may substitute for experience.
• Advanced knowledge of financial, budgetary, and accounting principles; ability to analyze and present complex budget information.

Responsibilities

• Lead oversight for the division's approx. $40M annual budget and related funding sources.
• Monitor expenditures, revenues, and fund balances to stay within budgets and fiscal parameters.
• Prepare comprehensive budget materials, analyses, and executive summaries for budget requests.
