Covetrus is seeking a seasoned Business Unit Controller for Covetrus North America’s largest business unit. The MWI Controller will oversee revenue recognition, inventory, general accounting, and controls, partnering with Operations, FP&A, and shared services to drive accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

You will lead a team of accounting professionals, mentor staff, and ensure GAAP compliance (ASC 606).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA certification required; MBA is a plus.
• 8+ years in finance/accounting with 3+ years in management.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ASC 606 experience.
• Experience leading accounting teams in fast-paced environments.

Responsabilités

• Direct revenue recognition, inventory control, general accounting, and compliance.
• Oversee month-end close with analytic reviews and accurate records.
• Own controls across record to report, procure to pay, and order to cash.
• Manage intercompany transactions and inventory-related allocations.
• Provide counsel to executives on financial goals and strategies.
• Mentor staff and build a high-performing Controllership team.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and timely external audits.
