Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years in BSA/AML compliance
• 2+ years of BSA management or team-lead experience
• ACAMS or CRCM certification preferred
• Strong familiarity with AML/CFT sanctions regulations
• English fluency; Portuguese desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of High-Risk Review Sr. Analysts and set performance expectations
• Oversee timely and accurate completion of enhanced due diligence and high-risk reviews
• Review and approve complex or high-risk cases per policies and risk appetite
• Ensure investigations are well-documented with evidence and rationale
• Monitor workloads, quality, aging, and service-level performance
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Serve as escalation for complex cases and elevated-risk matters
• Partner with Compliance, AML, Fraud, Sanctions, Legal, Risk and Operations on complex matters
• Develop and maintain reporting and management information for high-risk activity
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, controls and tech supporting the process
