Job summary

East West Bank is seeking a Senior BSA Analyst to lead SAR investigations, complete SAR filings, and perform periodic EDD reviews of high-risk customers. The role requires deep knowledge of BSA/AML regulations in the US and China and a strong ability to analyze complex financial activity.

Responsibilities include FIU reviews, researching suspicious activity, and escalating findings to management while maintaining accuracy and timely delivery in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience.
• 5 years in banking, operations, BSA compliance including filing SARs.
• Familiar with BSA/AML laws and regulations in US and China.
• Strong reasoning and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete FIU reviews of the Bank's customers that may have potentially suspicious or unusual activity.
• Perform research, analysis, investigation, review, and completing the SAR forms and escalating suspicious activity findings to management.
• Understand the bank's services, customers, and geographical locations to conduct effective research/investigation of accounts.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
